Keep On Keepin’ On: For the Love of Barry
On April 2, 2025, Rob performed as part of a tribute to blues/rock legend Barry Goldberg at The Mint Los Angeles.
Rob and Barry have written, recorded, and performed together for the last 10 years––including domestic and international concerts of Barry Goldberg’s Groove Summit, The Chicago Blues Reunion, and Electric Flag (with Harvey Mandel and Nick Gravenites). The April 2nd event celebrated the blues legend with a star-studded lineup and all proceeds benefited Goldberg’s family. It was truly a night of heartfelt music and remembrance. Musicians included: Slash, Joe Bonamassa, Elliot Easton (of the Cars), iconic drummer Jim Keltner, Tony Braunagel (of Bonnie Raitt and Taj Mahal’s bands), Jimmy Vivino (former Conan O’Brien bandleader), Johnny Lee Schell, Richard Fortus (of Guns & Roses), Rick Reed (of Canned Heat), Vince Fossett (and many other greats.
